Weekly Update (6/13/15): New Baby!

Welcome to my sweet little girl! She was born three weeks ago and it was the quickest, most painful delivery I've had (I was induced and my epidural didn't work), but I'm glad she's finally here.  I'm sleep deprived, covered in spit up, and not sure I'll ever come out of this fog I'm living in, but I'm surviving! 

Reading has all but come to a halt (as has blogging), but I've been plugging along on a few books during the wee hours of the night when the rest of the world is sleeping.

What I read recently:

I finished reading Little House in the Big Woods to my kids, and they loved it.  They've been dressing up and pretending that they are Mary and Laura living in the woods.  Itty Bitty Kitty was adorable and I already shared my review of it here.  Better than Before was okay.  I'll be posting my thoughts on it soon.

DNF:

This book was much better than I expected it to be, but it wasn't for me.  I got about half way through it before I quit.  If you like easy reads with paranormal elements, you will probably like this much more than I did.

What I'm currently reading:

I'm really enjoying all these books.  Venture Mom is a self-help business book for moms and is exactly what I was looking for.  Murder Freshly Baked is the last book in a series of cozy mysteries taking place in an Amish village.  I also started reading Little House on the Prairie to my kids the other night. 

What I'm Reading Next:

I'm not sure what I'll be reading next.  I have quite a few books on my TBR list, but with the baby here now, I'm just taking it day by day and reading whatever I feel like.  I'm also reading incredibly slow, since I can only squeeze in a page or two at a time.
