About the Author:
Pamela R. Jensen was born into a family of 10 children, she was the oldest girl and second child. She spent a majority of her childhood entertaining her younger siblings. Drawing has always been apart of who she is, always sketching anything and everything. She can remember getting into trouble for drawing on the walls. She now lives with her husband a retired farmer and miner in Grantsville, UT. They have five children, and ten grandchildren who love to draw with grandma. I sketch and draw because I can’t stop. She tells her grandchildren, put a pencil or a pen in my hand and it automatically starts to draw, almost without thinking. She has made some pretty impressive doodles in her time.
My Thoughts:
I usually take coloring and sticker books to church to keep my kids quiet, but the books are rarely church related. I've had some guilt over that because while I want my kids to be quiet during church, I also want them to learn something other than what cutie mark Pinkie Pie has. This activity book is the perfect solution. It's full of coloring pages and quiet activities related to church and the gospel.
I expected the activities to be word searches and crossword puzzles, but this book as some new activities. It has things like finishing a half drawn picture and then coloring it, copying the bishop's tie that day, and practicing to fill out a tithing slip. There are matching games and mazes too.
This is a great activity book to have. It keeps my kids quiet and keeps their minds on church.
