About the Book:
Being a 16-year-old safecracker and active-duty daughter of international spies has its moments, good and bad. Pros: Seeing the world one crime-solving adventure at a time. Having parents with super cool jobs. Cons: Never staying in one place long enough to have friends or a boyfriend. But for Maggie Silver, the biggest perk of all has been avoiding high school and the accompanying cliques, bad lunches, and frustratingly simple locker combinations.
Then Maggie and her parents are sent to New York for her first solo assignment, and all of that changes. She'll need to attend a private school, avoid the temptation to hack the school's security system, and befriend one aggravatingly cute Jesse Oliver to gain the essential information she needs to crack the case . . . all while trying not to blow her cover.

About the Author:
I'm the author of "Audrey, Wait!" and "The Extraordinary Secrets of April, May & June." My latest book "Also Known As" was released in February 2013 and the sequel will be out in Winter 2014. I live in Los Angeles with my extremely stubborn shih tzu, Hudson. I've gotten a lot better at cooking. I still love coffee. We should be friends.

My Thoughts:
Oh my goodness this book is fantastic! It's not a long book, and it isn't heavy reading either, so I finished it in a few hours. It is hilarious! I laughed a lot while reading it.
The characters are a lot of fun. Roux is one character that will go down in my "favorite sidekicks of all time" list. Jesse is genuine and sweet and honest and good and a really great guy all around. Maggie is a very entertaining protagonist. She uses wit and sarcasm to navigate the shark infested waters of teenage espionage.
Content: There are some clean kissing scenes in the book, a bit of innuendo, and more language than I would have liked. There is also under age drinking. Overall though, this is a great book for teens if you don't mind a bit of content.
